Practicing What I Teach

Lots of folks talk big but don’t really do anything. People who talk the talk but don’t walk the walk rub us the wrong way. The most effective teachers and leaders live what they teach. I’m endeavoring to be an effective teacher of truth. I want to live what I believe.

I’ve written lately that I believe we can speak to things and expect them to obey. I told the story about speaking to a lost cell phone and it obeyed. (If you didn’t read that one go here:

I have a situation in my life that I’ve needed to speak to but I haven’t. But now it’s time to put my faith on the line and practice what I teach.

Several months ago my wedding band and a diamond ring given to me by my wife disappeared. I’m not sure if they were stolen or if I misplaced them. They are just simply gone. They mean a great deal to me and I want them back.

Just today I realized that I had spoken to a lost cell phone and told it to return to its owner and it did, but I had never spoken to my lost rings. So I spoke to those rings and commanded them to return to me quickly. I said it by faith and in the name of Jesus. I call it done and expect to have those rings back in the near future.

I just wanted to go on record and let you in on this because before long we’ll shout about it and give God all the glory! It will be a great testimony.

I love living like this! I’m working on the greater things He said I’d do!

Cogitate on this!
